I will be starting nursing school this fall and which means I will be facing an incredibly high tuition rate.I have a passion for helping others and I am extremely enthusiastic about giving back to my community. My goal is to train in the emergency field in order to travel and volunteer in countries in crisis. I have constant curiosity to learn new skills and gain new knowledge which would enhance my ability to serve as a nurse.
History
In less than a year, I accumulated 200+ volunteer hours for community enrichment: Packaging, distributing and serving food to homeless people on the city streets, beautifying schools by cleaning debris, planting trees, and painting walls and sidewalks. Signing up and registering people to donate blood for blood drives. Having fundraisers and handcrafting art for sick children. Walking and raising funds and awareness of cancer. Logistics support for a Syrian charity fundraising dinner(ticket, beverages and food sales, information, registration, organization and reception)
