Education History
• I grew up in Duluth Georgia where I attended Elementary and Middle School. I spent my Freshman year at Duluth High school, but had to change schools part-way through my Sophmore year due to an abusive situation at home.
• In 2016, I moved to Alpharetta, GA and began attending Centennial High School. While at Centennial, I took AP World History, Biology, Physics 1, US history, Lang/ Composition, Psychology, and Physics C: Mechanics. I received 5's (the maximum score) on all of them.
• I am currently a rising Sophmore at Georgia Tech. I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and plan to minor in Psychology.

• I have been a straight-A student my whole life and have received honor roll recognition every year of high school.
• I received the Georgia certificate of merit from the University of Georgia for my "exceptional scholastic performance".
• I’ve earned the “AP Scholar with Distinction” award from the CollegeBoard for earning perfect scores on all my AP exams.

Despite the challenges I've faced- which include losing my hair to alopecia at the age of three, a rough divorce, and domestic abuse that forced me to change schools in the middle of my education- I have not lost my optimism for the future or my tenacious drive to succeed.
I know that with enough dedication and hard work, I will be able to fulfill my dream of designing new devices to assist patients as the founder of my own Biomedical company. That is why, throughout high school, I challenged myself with AP classes, outside-of-class research projects, and volunteer opportunities. It's why I currently spend hours after class attending help sessions and helping others with class material at Georgia Tech. I want to succeed now in order to make a difference once I've graduated.
I currently spend my time playing music, creating new art each day for my art blog, and working a retail job on the side in order to offset my college debt. Because one thing's for sure- I am happiest when I'm productive.

• I have 8 years of piano experience, and have won the superior award in festival competitions each year.
• I played violin as part of the Centennial High School chamber Orchestra, the most advance orchestra program our school had to offer. Our class received top scores at yearly competitions, and even performed at the Kennesaw School of Music Invitational in 2019.

I am what most people would call "ferociously creative".
My primary instrument is the piano, which I've played for over ten years. I currently play the violin with the Georgia Tech symphony orchestra. Additionally, I play Ukulele, percussion, sing recreationally, and am learning to play the acoustic guitar.
I enjoy composing electronic and sheet music in my free time, and have assisted friends at the Kennesaw school of music with their music theory compositions.
Additionally, I enjoy creating visual art. I currently maintain an art blog (thingsaday.tumblr.com) on which I post at least one new piece of art per day. This includes digital art, physical art, musical compositions, animations, and more. I've maintained this blog (as well as a youtube channel of my animations) for a little over two years.

Working part-time jobs while taking classes and performing several extracurricular activities helped prepare me for a professional world wherein I must balance several responsibilities at once. I am grateful for the opportunities I've received to further my education with the help of the money I've made from professional and semi-professional endeavors.

• I won the inaugural “Power of One” scholarship from the Roswell Rotary club for my work forming a nonprofit organization to serve the Veteran's Empowerment organization in Atlanta.
• I received the Girl Scout bronze award for organizing a “starter box” program for new foster parents.

• I earned the Gold Award for Girl Scouts after creating a documentary video, website, and nonprofit organization that collects monthly drive items to benefit the Veterans’ empowerment organization.

- My Girl Scout Gold Award Project, Students Serving Veterans, aimed to improve community awareness, offer resources to returning veterans, and help existing organizations achieve the same goal. Most importantly, I sought to provide immediate tangible support to homeless veterans in the Atlanta area by delivering collected items to the Veteran’s empowerment organization (VEO).
- To combat the profound lack of community awareness that existed in the nation as well as my state, I traveled to the Veteran’s Empowerment Organization in Atlanta (VEO) and interviewed several veterans struggling with homelessness themselves. - I also created a website to offer additional information about the VEO, Students Serving Veterans, and Veteran homelessness in general. The website can be found here: https://seitha.wixsite.com/ssvets.
-I began to advertise my organization, Students Serving Veterans, at public events by distributing pamphlets and posters, and among my friends and family through social media.
As soon as the school year began, the second phase of my project began.
-I obtained a club charter and founded the "Students Serving Veterans" club at Centennial High School. We began a system of monthly donation drives for toiletries, clothing, etc. Each month, a different donation theme (like paper goods, toiletries, etc.) would be advertised with the help of the school news (and with posters around the school). The first month, the theme was cleaning supplies, and 56 cleaning supplies were donated. At the time of completing the gold award, 103 items total had been collected. Since the completion of the award, 827 more items have been collected and donated to the VEO.
-At the time of completing my project, SSV had informed over 1,529 people. That number grows each day, as the Students Serving Veterans club continues to advertise, collect, and volunteer each week.
-Students Serving Veterans has been grateful to receive the support of the school news, the Roswell Rotary Club, and even Starbucks (as part of a donation-for-raffle-tickets incentive). Ultimately, this project surprised and delighted me by its scope and impact, especially considering the short time in which it was completed.
