I was told that I was admitted into the National Honor Society in 10th grade. The induction ceremony was very late because my school was trying to find a new advisor. The induction did not happen until spring of my 11th-grade year and over the course of not having an advisor, we were not able to fundraise or do community-based projects. The pandemic was the current situation in the spring therefore we had the event virtually. Still, we have not done much due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
