Employment History
After graduating in May 2014, I began working for Target. I was hired as a cashier and team member on the floor, but was soon promoted to be in charge of the cosmetics department where I helped improve inventory accuracy and reduced theft. Later I became part of the visual merchandising team, often travelling to other stores to help them implement new floor plans. I left in January 2017 for another opportunity. In October 2016 I was hired as a part time seasonal associate at Typo. I was then asked to stay permanently, and six months later was promoted to an assistant manager position. In May of 2019 I was promoted again to Store Manager, and have spent the past two years leading my team. I continued to show proficiency in inventory accuracy, as well as meeting sales goals month over month. As I am planning to leave this fall for school, my goals are to find my successor and prepare my team for a smooth transition to new management.
