Employment History
June of 2021 I got a job at the Muffin Tin restaurant as a busser and server, where I learned valuable customer service skills. Over the summer of 2021 I worked 20 hours a week, and continued working weekends throughout the next school year. August of 2022 I quit working at the Muffin Tin and got a job at the toy store Learning Express. I worked over 15 hours a week during the summer and continued to do so throughout the entirety of this school year.
Community Service
History
• Wear-Pawsitivity is my community service project in which I handmake beading crystal bracelets and sell them to raise money for local rescues such as PAWS4YOU, Miami Animal Rescue, and This Is the Dog. So far I have raised over $2,500.
• Starting in August of 2020, every summer my family takes in two animals to foster. In the past I have worked with This is the Dog (the shelter I rescued my own dog from) and Miami Animal Rescue. This has collectively added up to over 500 community service hours
• During the summers of both 2021 and 2022, I have worked alongside This Is the Dog and PAWS4YOU to create handmade dog toys out of recycled materials for the shelter animals.
