Aside from daily classes and coursework, I've stayed involved at school through participation in various after school clubs. These include computer programming club, Future Teachers of America, which I have held an officer position in since my sophomore year, Connetquot Civic, National Honor Society, and World Language Honor Society.

Community Service
History
Since beginning high school, I've participated in a wide range of community service events and opportunities. My freshman year I participated in our local relay for life. Beginning in freshman year I joined Future Teachers of America which led to tutoring and educational service opportunities. I have also volunteered at other school events and district public events. Towards the end of my sophomore year I began to volunteer with the NYS Parks and Recreation Department, helping out at an array of educational and family events as well as by organizing a beach clean up.
